Milk cooperative starts paying farmers every week
The upper valley cooperative moves from monthly to weekly payments after members voted for it in October.

The Upper Valley Dairy Cooperative will pay its 1,300 members every Friday instead of at the end of each month, from this week.
Members voted for the change at the October meeting. The cooperative says its new mobile payment account makes it possible.
The price per litre stays at KSh 52 until the next review in January.
