By Amani Otieno, council and transport reporter · · Corrected Wed 22 Jul
The council has approved a new water tariff. Households keep the same price for their first 6 cubic metres a month and pay KSh 85 per cubic metre above that.
The water company says the change pays for pipes to Mbalini and Kora, where families still buy water from carts.
